Supporting the Gorge

With Quilts

As a non-profit corporation, CRGQG participates in community service projects as requested by local organizations and approved by membership. If your area has a project you think could use our help, you are invited to submit a proposal to CRGQG. If your local quilt group needs the support of the Guild membership, contact the Comfort Quilts Chair. The Columbia River Gorge Quilters’ Guild is incorporated in the State of Oregon as a domestic nonprofit corporation. We are also classified as a tax-exempt public charity under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).

During the past 3 years, our Guild has donated over 380 Comfort Quilts to a variety of charitable organizations, including Providence Hospital’s Transitions Program, Skyline Hospital, Hood River Women’s Shelter, the Suttle Lake AIDS Campquilts, and recently, victims of the 2020 wildfires. We provide educational opportunities for individuals who want to learn quilting, or who enjoy viewing and learning more about quilts. We also accept donations of quilting fabric, batting, and other quilting-related items. You may make a financial contribution by clicking the Donate button below. For more information, please use the contact form and someone will respond to your inquiry. Thanks - we appreciate your support!!
